Service Writer

Responsibilities:

Greet all customers will excellent customer service from intake to release of their equipment.

Compelte a full customer interview upon check-in to assist with technician's diagnosis, clarification of issues, obtaining vehicle information

Verify warrantable equipment explaining to customers provisions and exclusions

Translate customer-reporte issues to actionable work orders for tech's to complete

Be able to develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor as well as obtaining approval signatures

Handle and resolve customer complaints with empathy and courtesy.

Schedule customer appointments matching repairs to technicians areas of expertise

Invoice and collect payment from customers for services renders

Submit and monitor all part requests

Complete follow up calls for parts ordered and customer repairs

Maintain customer records 

Qualities:

Excellent customer service skills

Highest level of communication skills

Demonstrate the ability to problem-solve

Can work independently

Shows initiative and drive to be successful

Basic office skills - copy, email, answer the telephone

Basic computer skills

Strong organizational skills

Basic mathematical skills to prepare and process bills

Basic diesel engine knowledge prefered but not required

Willingness to learn

This position is offered as a full-time hourly rate of pay depending on experience.

Outside Sales Rep

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, manufacturers, distributors, and co-workers via phone, email, fax and face-to-face.

Build professional relations with a wide variety of customers

Cold calling on new customers to increase sales 

Sell a variety of diesel parts to existing and new customers

Order parts and supplies through submission of purchase orders

Receiving and delivering of inventory 

Assist with checking in deliveries and warehouse organization

Cash handling 

Heavy lifting up to 100lbs is required

Qualities:

Excellent customer service skills

Strong prioritization and multitasking skills

Show a strong sense of urgency when needed

High level of motivation

Strong organization skills required

Can work independently

Shows initiative and drive to be sucessful

Basic office skills - copy, email, phone

Basic mathematical skills to give estimates

Basic diesel knowledge prefered but not required

This position is offered a base salary plus commission depending on level of experience
